Ski Loveland

Ski Loveland and relax in the Hot Springs at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort

Loveland Ski Area is comprised of mainly intermediate and advanced ski terrain and is located a few miles from other major Colorado ski resorts such as Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Beaver Creek.

Loveland Ski Area is well known for its easy accessibility to the mountain itself, offering free parking and 10 lifts to approach 93 trails and over 1,800 acres of ski able terrain.

The coolest thing about Loveland Ski Area is that the trails are quite spread out, leaving ample room for skiers and boarders to ride and explore the mountain. One lift and portion of the mountain terrain lies on the other side of I-70, through an access tunnel, making Loveland Ski Area quite unique.

Loveland Ski Area is best known as a local’s mountain, giving way for tourists to congest at other popular Colorado ski resorts.

Compared to other Colorado ski resorts, Loveland Ski Area lift tickets are reasonable at $61 per adult day pass. Even better, this season Loveland has teamed up with Shell Gas Stations in their Ski Free promotion, which basically equates to Buy 1 Get 1 Free lift tickets.

If after all that skiing, you are in need of some serious relaxation, you should try a Colorado hot spring to soothe whatever ails you.

Roughly 1.5 hours south from Loveland Ski Area, you will find Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, a gorgeously placed luxurious resort offering natural geothermic hot spring pools and creekside soaking in Chalk Creek, flowing through the resort property.

Mount Princeton Hot Spring Resort is open to the public and also features quality and affordable accommodation in either hotel rooms or modern, rustic cabins. Mount Princeton Hot Springs guests often utilize the resort as the hub for their Colorado ski vacation, because of its proximity to several Colorado Ski and Snowmobiling destinations.
